Football Fun Days

In addition to the structured sessions run over each school term we also organise School Holiday Fun Days. These sessions are by design less formal than those run during the school terms.

The aim of the Holiday Fun Day sessions is relaxation and fun also providing an opportunity for all members to meet those attending all our Centres across North Somerset. Using a vast array of coaching aid equipment and encouraging all those attending to have a go, barriers are soon broken and new friendships formed.

The design of the equipment and its use will challenge each players technical ability in a fun but positive manner. Equipment we use; Heading Trellis - Dribbling Manniquins - Free Kick Wall - Speed Chutes - Kwik Kik Speed Balls - Target Master - Mini Shooting Targets - Full Goal Shooting Target - Rebounders - Mini Goals - Agility Poles & Ladders - Go-4-Goal Game - 4 Court Head Tennis Game & more......now includes Shooting Speed Radar.

The general itinerary of these days usually starts with games using our vast array of coaching aids, providing an opportunity for all players to get to know each other. This process is further aided by a tournament of small sided games of football until lunch.

After lunch generally lasting 45 minutes to an hour, we arrange the players into teams for a round robin tournament to finish the day.

The Holiday sessions are open to all Member players who attend the regular weekly formal sessions and their friends who may not. Check Calendar for Courses & Venues. Course Duration: 9am to 3pm. Bring Packed Lunch & plenty to drink. Clothing for indoor & outdoor activities.
