The original football development programme in North Somerset. Founded in 1993 and established in our current venues since 1997. A proven track record of player progression into professional football club academies, but more importantly in overall player development by providing an effective, safe & player friendly Coaching Programme designed to help each player work towards and achieve their full potential. We are often duplicated and are happy to accept this sincerest form of endorsement.

In Association with Southampton FC Premier League Academy
In keeping with our Association with Southampton FC Academy. Two member players now with Southampton FC Academy receiving the FA Charter Standard Award on behalf of our Pre Academy & Development Program from Rod Ruddick former Southampton FC Satellite Academy Manager & Senior Scout + Academy Coaching Staff Josh Holt, Ian Doherty & Chris Palmer.
Structured Coaching Courses
We offer structured courses of coaching using indoor facilities in Nailsea, Clevedon & Weston-super-Mare. Monday to Friday during school terms and less formal Fun Days at selected venues during the School Holidays.
The Pre Academy & Development Team firmly believe that young players reach their full potential when they are allowed to express themselves and play without fear. Places are governed by coach player ratio’s in keeping with standards expected of a FA Charter Standard Award rising to adhere and compliment those of Southampton FC Premier League Status Academy.
Places are offered on a membership basis. We do not subject players to trials. The standard & experience of the Pre Academy & Development Coaching team ensures this method of involvement in an advanced coaching programme to be unnecessary. The structure of sessions aid movement of players, meeting the growing ability and needs of the individual player, therefore we see little purpose or benefit of, placement by trial.
Ad-Hoc attendance serves very little benefit to a child, so children should only be encouraged to attend if they are enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn. We trust you as a parent will see the benefit in establishing these guidelines. (For more information click The Objectives)
